The Associate Quality Engineering Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing manual and test automation solutions for functional, system integration and regression testing, and ensuring conformance to the team's standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand project capabilities and features to develop and execute Functional and System Integration test cases
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman to invoke and understand the functionality behind the APIs under test
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and work towards automating repetitive manual test scenarios
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using API & UI test automation tools
  • Execute automated test cases, analyse test results, and report defects
  • Incorporate agile development methodology, utilizing tools such as Github for code versioning, Jenkins for CI/CD, and CA Rally
  • Perform automation independently and assist/mentor his/her team members whenever required.
  • Participate in code reviews, quality assurance activities, and contribute to improving overall testing processes
  • Communicate effectively with other quality/development engineers and upstream/downstream application teams
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience in IT industry
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing
  • 4+ years of experience in API/UI test automation frameworks like Rest Assured, Selenium Webdriver and 2-years of experience in AI/ML implementation
  • Experience in Functional and System Integration testing
  • Experience with AI/ML implementation using Python and tools such as Accelq, Tosca
  • Experience with version control systems like Git for managing test code
  • Experience in Agile/DevOps methodology and familiarity with agile delivery tools (CA Rally)
  • Ability to analyze requirements, design, implement and execute effective test cases
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in API testing tools like Postman
  • Basic understanding and usage of SQL queries for testing database interactions
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Knowledge of integrating automated tests into CI/CD process using tools like Jenkins
  • Ability to work independently on a project and collaborate with multiple stake holders
  • Proven good communication and out of box thinking capability

  • Knowledge in healthcare domain
