As the Senior Director of Product for Artificial Intelligence at UKG, you will play a critical role in driving the roadmap, execution, and delivery of innovative AI-powered products and capabilities, including those leveraging large language models (LLMs). You'll lead a team of product managers and work closely with engineering, data science, UX, and business leaders to turn transformative ideas into tangible outcomes that deliver exceptional value for our customers and stakeholders.
You'll be a catalyst for innovation, a champion of responsible AI, and a leader who knows how to inspire teams to build what's next.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of AI features and products, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
- Translate AI capabilities-especially those related to LLMs and ML-into customer-facing solutions that improve user experience, drive efficiency, and unlock new value
- Partner with engineering, data science, and UX to define, validate, and iterate on AI initiatives from concept through delivery
- Lead a team of AI-focused product managers, cultivating a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-obsessed culture
- Stay on top of AI trends and emerging technologies, using insight to inform product decisions and long-term strategy
- Use data and ROI-driven frameworks to evaluate opportunities, prioritize features, and guide strategic investment in AI products
- Collaborate with go-to-market, sales, and customer success teams to ensure successful launch, adoption, and value realization of AI solutions
- Support VP of Product and executive stakeholders in articulating UKG's AI strategy, including visibility to customers, partners, and internal leadership
- Uphold ethical, transparent, and human-centered AI practices across product development efforts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in product management, with at least 3-5 years in AI, machine learning, or related technology domains
- Strong track record of delivering AI or data-powered products-especially in enterprise, B2B, or SaaS contexts
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring product managers in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Excellent collaboration skills across disciplines, with proven ability to translate technical innovation into business impact
- Solid understanding of LLMs, AI/ML tools, and trends; comfortable engaging with engineers and data scientists
- Familiarity with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and modern product development approaches
- Highly effective communicator, able to tailor messaging across technical and executive audiences
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) preferred

The pay range for this position is $202,300 to $290,800, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
