Role Overview:

The Strategic Operations Senior Director is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of the organization. This position requires a visionary leader who can drive strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure alignment with the company's long-term goals. This role demands a proactive individual capable of managing multiple projects, facilitating cross-departmental communication, and ensuring alignment with the organization's goals. The Strategic Operations Director will be a key member of the One View Leadership team and will collaborate closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies that support growth, innovation, scalability, and sustainability into the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's vision and objectives.

This person will execute strategic initiatives, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement across the One View business.

Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.

Create a data-driven approach that will help inform the decision-making process and provide tangible insights to the leadership team.

Operational Excellence:

Oversee the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.

Identify areas for improvement within the organization and implement processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive accountability across all areas of the business.

Leadership and Team Development:

Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for professional growth.

Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the One View Business.

Financial Management:

Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

Analyse financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and reputation.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Communicate operational strategies and performance to the executive team and interdepartmental stakeholders.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Proven experience in a senior management role, with a track record of strategic leadership and operational excellence.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Experience in managing budgets, financial analysis, and resource allocation.

Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices.

Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
