The Principal Corporate Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing a variety of tax planning initiatives. This position can be based in either Lowell, MA or Weston, FL and will report to the Sr. Director - Global Tax.

This position will focus on non-recurring tax planning projects, so specific responsibilities may vary over time. However, initial responsibilities are likely to include:
• Managing the execution of tax planning projects that are approved by tax leadership;
• Calculating the ROI of tax planning opportunities identified by external firms;
• Modelling the financial impact of tax law changes on UKG's business;
• Proactively reviewing deferred balances for favorable tax accounting method change opportunities; and,
• Carefully reviewing cross-border tax calculations (e.g., FDII) for both accuracy and tax savings opportunities.

Experience & Qualifications
• 5 to 7 years of full-time tax work experience.
o At least 3 years of the 5 years must have been spent at either a Big 4 firm, a large law firm, or a large multinational company.
o At least 2 years of the 5 years must have been spent focused on some combination of International Tax, Tax Planning, Transfer Pricing or Tax Accounting Methods.
o A JD, LLM or MST can replace 1 year of the preceding work experience requirements.
• Excellent tax technical skills.
• A solid understanding of cross-border tax laws and concepts (e.g., GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, etc.).
• Able to self-train rapidly with respect to newly enacted tax laws, as well as areas of tax where the candidate does not have prior experience.

The pay range for this position is $126,300.00 to $181,550.00, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
