About the Role:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll drive full-stack backend architecture and development using both Java and Python frameworks. You'll lead a cross-functional team, manage technical delivery, and ensure scalable design for modern SaaS products. This is a hands-on role for those who thrive at the intersection of deep tech expertise and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and optimize scalable APIs and services using Java (Spring Boot) and Python (Django).

Lead end-to-end technical ownership of modules and product features.

Guide junior and mid-level engineers through design, code reviews, and delivery best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams-Product, QA, DevOps, and Data-to deliver secure and performant solutions.

Proactively manage technical debt, code quality, and reliability.

Advocate for engineering excellence, automation, testing, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

6+ years of hands-on backend development experience with strong command of Java and Python (Django/Flask).

Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and database design.

Proficient with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with ORMs (JPA, Django ORM).

Strong background in system design, scalability, caching (Redis), messaging queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).

Hands-on with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes; exposure to cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Experience leading small teams or mentoring engineers.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).

Prior work in a B2B or B2C product-based environment.
