About the Role
We are searching for a Lead Product Manager to support the UKG Pro™ Talent Management product team. This role will support two cutting-edge agile teams that are responsible for the delivery of functionality of our innovative Internal Talent Marketplace and Unified Skills.

This individual is an analytical thinker with domain knowledge and strong customer focus, who is accountable for researching, analyzing and documenting clear and actionable business requirements in a way that they can be distributed across one or more development teams, to incrementally deliver the desired functionality.

This role requires talent and passion for collaboration and will be working with skilled Software Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers in creating high-quality software for customers and the organization in the UKG Pro Talent Management product area.

Skills essential to this role are strong analysis, organization, written and verbal communication, ability to grasp new domains quickly and understand the upstream and downstream effects, along with a disciplined approach to the processes (escalations, JIRA, documentation, etc.) specific to UKG.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Owns the definition and direction of complex features and enhancements that have cross domain/team dependencies throughout the development process.
- Writes user stories and documents conditions of acceptance with input from other stakeholders' input including UX Designers, Developers, and QA.
- Stocks the product backlog with actionable user stories; Prioritizes requirements and evaluates tradeoffs according to business value.
- Collaborates on detailed functional designs, using Agile methodologies and tools.
- Inspires and leads development teams to deliver on time with quality in a dynamic environment without management authority.
- Researches industry trends and participates in customer meetings to identify customer needs, keeping customer empathy front and center.
- Supports customer innovation programs, Alpha and Beta testing, and Controlled Roll-Out to validate product value with customers and prospects.
- Participates in organizational and customer readiness activities for new product releases by reviewing learning content and joining knowledge transfer events.
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for the UKG Pro Talent products across the organization internally and assists with troubleshooting escalated customer issues.
- Mentors and trains others on tools, procedures, technology, standards, and guidelines.
- Collaborates with leadership on identification and execution of process changes.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in a Product Manager or Software/Product Business Analyst position in an Agile or Lean Software Development environment
- 1+ years of proven project leadership experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of the Talent Management domain and knowledge of related domains
- Experience establishing and supporting successful partner relationships
- HR Certification(s) (e.g. PHR, SHRM-CP)
- Completion of Pragmatic Marketing or Silicon Valley Product Group product training

- High degree of organizational skills and self-motivation with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex functional issues and synthesize new ideas, decomposing into granular requirements
- Team player with the ability to work in a collaborative environment to solve business problems
- Able to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at multiple levels, while guiding individuals with different perspectives to a common outcome

The pay range for this position is $126,300.00 to $181,550.00, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
