About the Team:

UKG is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join its Corporate Risk and Compliance team. The team is dedicated to maintaining an efficient and effective compliance program, and a key part of its mission is delivering global compliance training. The position will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of compliance through engaging and ongoing training snippets.

About the Role:

As a Learning Experience Designer IV, reporting to the Corporate Compliance Operations Manager, you will lead the design and development of immersive, user centered learning experiences for our internal audience at both corporate and team levels. You will assess learning needs and create effective blended-learning experiences, including eLearning, videos, instructor-led sessions, and performance support resources. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on UKG's compliance culture and the professional growth of our U Krewers.

To thrive in this role, you must have a talent for designing and delivering concise, audience-targeted instructional learning. Your passion for creating holistic learning experiences will enable the success of teammates, cross-functional teams, and, ultimately, UKG.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to identify business/learning needs, business drivers and pain points, using tools like empathy mapping, learner personas, and journey maps to develop learning strategies aligned to organizational goals.
  • Develop immersive learning plans and solutions using a variety of modalities (e.g. eLearning, microlearning, videos, virtual sessions, toolkits) to drive employee engagement.
  • Build and manage end to end project plans, including content strategy, communication campaigns, and measurement frameworks for global legal, risk, and compliance learning programs.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and meet design, development, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with department SMEs, legal and risk teams, and external vendors to deliver innovative solutions to achieve team and organizational goals.
  • Contribute to the development and application of design processes, templates, and tools.
  • Rapidly design and develop ad-hoc engaging content and activities using holistic LXD principles to meet internal training needs.
  • Utilize LMS and other platforms to deploy, promote, and track learning experiences; support a continuous learning culture through spaced learning and nudges.
  • Produce reporting and dashboards to track and communicate program status to stakeholders and conduct impact analysis and retrospectives of learning programs.
  • Apply principles of accessibility, inclusivity, and universal design to ensure learning experiences are usable and impactful for diverse learners.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in UX, compliance training, and learning sciences, bringing fresh ideas to evolve our learning strategy.

About You:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Adult Learning/Education, or related field.
  • 7+ years in a Learning & Development role, designing and developing blended learning solutions and managing learning programs.
  • Proven ability to build business partnerships with stakeholders and collaborate to develop strategic learning plans.
  • Strong proficiency in needs analysis and experience developing multiple instructional modalities, including instructor-led (synchronous and asynchronous), eLearning, and structured experiences. Samples required.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to convey key concepts for appropriate audiences.
  • Exceptional program management skills to plan, execute, and evaluate multiple learning programs successfully.
  • Strong proficiency with industry-standard eLearning development software. Articulate 360 preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with external vendors.
  • Ability to work independently, influence change, manage multiple commitments, and demonstrate attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen skills, linking decision making to outcomes.
  • Experience working for a SaaS company/in SaaS environments.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS).

The pay range for this position is $88,700.00 to $127,500.00 USD, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
