About the Role
UKG is seeking a Lead AI Product Manager to lead strategy, vision, and delivery of next-generation AI capabilities across our suite of workforce and human capital management solutions. This role is ideal for a visionary product leader who thrives at the intersection of machine learning, business impact, and enterprise software. You will play a critical role in shaping UKG's AI roadmap, guiding cross-functional teams, and bringing scalable, responsible, and customer-centric AI features to market.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Vision
- Define and own the multi-year roadmap for AI-driven features, agents, and platforms- Identify emerging AI trends and opportunities that align with UKG's vision and customer needs- Translate market signals, user problems, and tech innovation into a clear product strategy
Product Leadership
- Serve as product owner for high-priority AI initiatives, including generative AI, agentic AI, and responsible AI
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, design, GTM, and customer teams- Set goals and success metrics aligned with business outcomes
Execution & Delivery
- Prioritize a roadmap that balances quick wins with scalable infrastructure investments- Own and manage the product lifecycle from ideation through GA- Drive cross-functional alignment on scope, value, and delivery timelines
Customer Focus
- Engage with customers, partners, and field teams to deeply understand problems and validate concepts- Work with UX and AI research to test concepts, validate value, and ensure accessibility and transparency of AI decisions
Governance & Ethics
- Collaborate with Responsible AI, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure compliance with global AI regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST, ISO 42001)- Define policies and guardrails for ethical AI development and usage
Thought Leadership
- Represent UKG in AI customer conversations, industry events, customer briefings, and executive reviews
- Mentor other product managers and contribute to the evolution of UKG's AI product practice

Minimum Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in AI/ML products
- Proven experience leading AI/ML product delivery in an enterprise SaaS environment
- Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts including LLMs, RAG, embeddings, LLMOps, and model evaluation
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into business value
- Strong skills in road mapping, market analysis, customer discovery, and agile delivery
- Familiarity with experimentation, A/B testing, and telemetry instrumentation
- Executive-level communication skills- Ability to influence stakeholders across product, engineering, sales, and compliance functions

We work in a collaborative, hybrid model. 3 days per week in the office is a requirement. Local candidates highly preferred.

Preferred
- Experience with HCM or Workforce Management domains
- Prior work in platform or extensibility teams
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and regulatory standards

The pay range for this position is $126,300 to $181,550, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
