About the role:
Are you a student or a recent graduate passionate about data and technology? We're looking for a Junior Python/ETL Developer to join our growing data team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in data processing, transformation, and automation using tools like Python and Alteryx.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers and analysts to build and support data pipelines that power business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist in designing and building ETL workflows using Alteryx and Python.
- Support the team in collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources (APIs, databases, spreadsheets).
- Help monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot basic errors or performance issues.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing.
- Document your work to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and collaboration.
Who You Are:
- A student in your final year or a recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Curious and eager to learn about data engineering and real-world data challenges.
- Some familiarity with Python (through coursework, personal projects, or bootcamps).
- Some familiarity with SQL, Git.
- Comfortable working with data in Excel, CSVs, or databases.
- Good communicator and team player with attention to detail.
