What You'll Do and Who You'll Work With
Are you ready to lead and elevate our marketing efforts to new heights? As the Head of Demand Generation, you will spearhead our B2B demand generation strategies across SMB and Enterprise with a focus on digital channels. You will lead a dynamic team and collaborate with all areas of the business to create and execute impactful campaigns, events, and marketing activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader with a visionary mindset and a can-do attitude. You will oversee all facets of marketing, including campaigns, digital, and events. Working in a hybrid role from home and office (Sydney or Melbourne), you will report directly to the Director of Marketing.
Your Responsibilities
• Drive the strategy for building pipeline and demand within marketing, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market trends
• Lead the development of comprehensive demand generation campaign plans to generate a robust pipeline through targeted campaigns and digital activity
• Collaborate with sales teams to support the development of key prospect and customer accounts.
• Oversee the creation of compelling content that supports marketing activities, including our website content, aligning with our Head of Brand and Communications.
• Determine event strategy and execute high-impact industry events, including in-person and virtual events such as webinars.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, ensuring they are informed about relevant activities.
• Lead and mentor a team of 3 marketing professionals to achieve departmental and business objectives.
• Stay across of digital marketing trends and technologies to continuously improve and innovate our marketing strategies.
Your skills
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a marketing team.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective demand generation strategies.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyse data and metrics to optimise campaigns.
• Creativity: Innovative thinking to develop unique and engaging marketing strategies.
• Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with sales and other departments.
Required Qualifications
• University BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• Clear and precise verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• 6+ years of experience in a marketing role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
Additionally, the following will be highly regarded:
• Relevant experience in SaaS B2B marketing.
