UKG's Global Pay software is renowned for its focus on streamlining payroll processes and its comprehensive suite of features, offering a culture-driven approach to managing compensation, benefits, compliance, and financial wellness on a unified platform. The General Manager (GM) for UKG Global Pay is a visionary product leader with P&L accountability and responsibility for transforming and growing the Global Pay business as part of UKG's broader growth initiatives. The Global Pay GM will be responsible for the business's short and long-term strategy and product roadmap and will accelerate the product journey and operationalize the product management and product marketing functions to enable scale and stay ahead of customer demands. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Global Pay GM will have P&L responsibility for the business and lead a team of approximately 21 team members.

The Global Pay GM will combine a highly strategic mindset, operational orientation, and an ability to drive measurable change. They will be responsible for assessing and developing the team and infusing operational rigor and modern product development practices into the business. They will be a builder of people and teams and a collaborative leader who can partner closely with cross-functional teams.

Your Responsibilities:

As a key member of the UKG leadership team, actively shape the future vision and strategy for the company and the Global Pay business unit, aligning with UKG's broader strategic goals.

Create a comprehensive product roadmap and strategy that aligns with UKG's broader strategy, ensuring differentiation and growth aspirations in the short, mid, and long-term.

Build deep relationships with customers, infusing their feedback into the product development process to enhance end-user experience. Own the "voice of the customer" and anticipate future needs to stay ahead of the competition.

Understand competitive dynamics and leverage insights to differentiate the Global Pay business, ensuring it remains ahead of market trends.

Own the key drivers of growth for the product and customer segment, working across the organization to drive these initiatives.

Own pricing, packaging, and product marketing as levers for growth and differentiation.

Collaborate effectively across functions, including the aligned engineering team and the broader go-to-market organization, to set strategy and ensure accountability.

Advocate for a data-driven culture, leveraging analytics to guide strategic decisions and product improvements.

Attract and build a best-in-class team empowered to drive transformation in line with business goals.

About You:

10+ years of experience in product leadership, with a track record of bringing technology-led products to market and driving execution with P&L responsibility.

Ability to drive growth using product functionality, pricing, packaging, and partnerships, leveraging data to enhance customer engagement and experience.

Experience in visualizing and developing new experiences and solutions, successfully bringing new products to market using innovative technologies like AI and machine learning.

Ability to implement best-in-class product management practices and drive continuous improvement and flawless execution of the Global Pay product portfolio.

Experience leading geographically distributed, diverse teams, attracting and growing talent.

Effective communicator of complex technical concepts.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years in product management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.

Proven ability to align corporate and product strategies with business goals.

Success in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes.

Strong capability to connect financial results to performance through effective use of KPIs and budget management.

Exceptional ability to navigate shifting priorities and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to prioritize these to drive impactful outcomes.

Proven track record of building and leading high performing teams and nurturing talent

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, MS, or Ph.D.) is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $256,000 to $368,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
