The Associate Manager, Data Services Consulting is responsible for all data conversion work and the resources assigned to that work. The individual guides the internal team members and as well assists customers with the extraction and transformation of source system data, offers strategic advice and informs on best practices relative to successful UKG Ready data conversion.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Management of a team consisting of data services consultants.

Provide guidance to the individuals on issue troubleshooting and resolution, client interactions and scheduling conflicts.

Performance management including training plans, ongoing coaching, annual reviews, career pathing, promotion readiness reviews, and goal creation

Identify and implement tool and process improvements and drive ongoing efficiencies, optimize reporting, and improve customers' experience; drive consultants to do the same

Serve as an escalation point for resolving issues with extracted/converted data

Serve as Technical Project Lead on complex multi-resource conversions

Develop and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the team on new tools, processes and best practices to drive efficiency

Attend process improvement and organizational readiness meetings and facilitate knowledge transfer to the team

Effectively communicate and report on data conversion initiatives and monthly dashboards

Highest degree of responsiveness and service to the team and our customers

Work closely across all teams to ensure all facets of the data conversion process are functioning efficiently, to ensure quality and customer experience is optimal, and help remove any obstacles

Serve as an escalation point to Implementation Project Managers for data conversion issues

Analyse feedback surveys to identify quality improvements; reach out to customers/consultants when appropriate

Collaborate with team, Implementation Managers, and Data Analysts and provide creative solutions and recommendations on issue and risk resolution for projects

Develop and lead staffing initiatives to meet SLA

Develop and lead process improvement initiatives

Drive key department-wide initiatives

Ensure all personal and team administrative tasks are completed timely and accurately.

Normal Activities conducted by the team members:

Collaborate and conduct a full and thorough data analysis and provide input to customers and internal teams on best practices for data management and data cleanup

Interpret, validate, and convert data from source system(s) to target system including demographic data, taxation, benefits, payroll balances, additional tables, contacts, dependents, beneficiaries, and optional data including job history, status history, check detail history, platform configurable field data, and complex elements (e.g., system setup tables, employee pictures and documents)

Utilize available data conversion tools, templates, and documentation to promote efficiency and standardization in compliance with UKG's data conversion methodology • Provide input on data conversion methodology and process improvements

Required Qualifications:

At least 8 years consulting experience, preferably in the Human Capital Management Software or similar space

Experience in communicating technical and project information in a business/commercial context

Able to lead a small/medium sized team, takes initiative to lead and develop, able to set and manage expectations.

A self-starter, who can operate successfully in this dynamic and fast-moving corporate environment

Working experience of ETL, data consulting, BI / Reporting.

Experience in SQL Database, Programming, and Transact SQL, Data Services Consulting team

Working in shift 4 with flexibility to cover additional hours as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with Human Capital Management Software

Prior knowledge or experience in People data, organization data, payroll data and other streams of HCM data.

UKG HCM/Payroll Product Knowledge or other Payroll/HR Systems
