ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced, results-driven B2B PR Manager with a passion for telling stories that resonate with media, analysts, and customers. This role will drive media relations and strategy for our enterprise learning arm, Udemy for Business, which recently surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) with notable global customers including The Walt Disney Corporation, Apple, Unicef, PayPal, Accenture, Samsung, Unilever, Instacart, Okta, and thousands of others.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Manage and execute PR programs, including thought leadership, product launches, customer stories, and proactive/reactive press opportunities.
Lead communications activities around feature announcements and partner integrations.
Own customer stories and product roadmap for our analyst relations program.
Work collaboratively with the in-house marketing team, customer success, product, executives, social media team, and external PR agency to develop campaigns and programs to drive awareness with our target buyer.
Arrange, facilitate, and manage media briefings with key company spokespeople.
Prepare materials, including briefing documents, for executive speaking engagements and interviews, media Q&A, press releases, pitches, media lists, and executive bios.
Partner with social media team to amplify PR campaigns on Udemy's social channels to reach our prospects and customers.
Lead speaking and awards program.
Manage quarterly measurement and analytics.
We’re excited about you because you have:
5+ years of professional experience in public relations, marketing, or communications. PR agency background preferred.
Working knowledge on how to manage product and customer media programs.
Strong grasp of PR fundamentals including drafting content for traditional media and social channels, building media lists, pitching, and research.
Proven success in building and maintaining a positive rapport with agencies, colleagues, and executive leadership.
Strong at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
A self-starter with tenacity for execution and delivery.
