About the Role
We're looking for a data-obsessed, impact-driven analyst to join our Marketplace Integrity team and help protect Uber Delivery from abuse, fraud, and manipulation. In this role, you'll dig deep into complex data, identify abuse patterns, and collaborate cross-functionally to build and scale solutions that drive business integrity across our LATAM markets.
This is a highly technical role - you'll need strong experience with SQL and Python to analyze large datasets, design scalable prevention strategies, and build automations that help our marketplace stay clean, fair, and high-performing!
What You'll Do
- Investigate and Analyze: Use advanced SQL and Python to identify abnormal patterns, abuse signals, and fraud trends across our delivery ecosystem.
- Build Prevention Mechanisms: Design and implement scalable solutions to prevent and mitigate abuse, working alongside Product, Ops, and Engineering teams.
- Automate & Scale: Create tools, dashboards, and automations to proactively flag abuse and streamline investigation processes.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Risk, Ops, Product, Legal, and Support to define policies and scale initiatives.
- Drive Strategy: Bring structure to ambiguity and help define the roadmap to protect one of Uber's fastest-growing business lines.

What You'll Need
- 1-2 years of professional experience in data analysis, fraud investigation, operations strategy, or a similar analytical field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python - this is a hands-on, technical role
- Experience working with large datasets and turning data into action
- Critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Comfort working with ambiguity and fast-moving, high-impact teams
- Bonus: Knowledge of fraud signals, marketplace dynamics, or delivery business models
- Professional working proficiency in English
