Strategy & Planning Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic individual to join our Strategy and Planning team as an Associate for the ACAC (Andean, Caribbean and Central America) region. This role is pivotal in defining and executing our local strategy, aligned with the global vision of our Retail business. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and leading strategic projects to achieve our objectives while maintaining close control over key metrics and the P&L.

This is a highly cross-functional role, where you will collaborate with leaders across Finance, Operation, Commercial, Product and Cross Functional teams to drive growth and operational excellence.

You will report directly to the Strategy and Planning Leader for Chile and ACAC.

What You'll Do

Governance & Stakeholder Management:

• Control financial and operational performance, reporting results to leadership in weekly and monthly business reviews.
• Manage relationships and workflows with cross-functional teams, as well as regional and global stakeholders.
• Prepare and lead market visits, including agenda creation, presentations, and follow-up on action items.

• Own the financial planning process for ACAC, reflecting the regional strategy in all financial models.
• Set and manage operational and financial targets, ensuring alignment with our long-term business vision.
• Manage the budget, capital allocation, and forecasting to ensure short-term and long-term top and bottom-line growth.
• Define and execute the profitability path for the retail business.

• Lead and support high-impact strategic projects to drive business growth and market leadership.
• Act as a project manager for the implementation of new product launches and initiatives in the ACAC region.
• Data driven analyses: assists areas and leadership team providing insights, recommendations and tools, conducting cost-benefit analyses, supporting decision-making processes and identifying areas of growth and efficiency.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, tech, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL and Google Sheets, with strong data visualization and storytelling skills.
• A data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and quantitative analysis capabilities.
• Proven experience in financial, operational, and commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of P&L management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• A structured problem-solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

• Experience in Retail (e.g., Groceries, Pharma, Convenience) or E-commerce, particularly in high-growth environments.
• A proven track record of defining strategy and executing it within a tech or consumer-focused company.
• Experience building and scaling business planning processes and operating cadences.
