About the role

Uber is transforming the future of grocery and retail, building the world's largest marketplace for on-demand delivery of local commerce. As part of the Global Operations team for Grocery & Retail (G&R), you will help launch complex products globally, supporting product and operations teams as we implement new solutions to grow our business and provide a world-class delivery experience.

In this role, you will work closely with local operational and commercial teams worldwide, as well as global teams such as Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal. You will drive and deliver complex product launches to global markets, continuously optimizing processes, programs, and solutions to ensure seamless deployment and maximum impact.

This position requires a strategic and detail-oriented professional who can coordinate cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and ensure successful rollouts with a focus on financial considerations. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management, communication, and analytical skills to support both pre-launch and post-launch activities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to secure funding and alignment for all dependencies related to CPP product launches, working with Product, Finance, Operations, and other key teams
  • Lead hands-on execution of product launches, ensuring adherence to frameworks, timelines, resources, and budgets
  • Facilitate pre-launch activities such as testing, legal reviews, and operational approvals
  • Develop and execute launch plans addressing both technical and non-technical requirements
  • Identify and resolve issues during launches to ensure smooth operations
  • Drive global initiatives to enhance processes related to the CPP product, such as merchant experience, promotions, and memberships
  • Keep stakeholders informed on project and initiative progress to maintain clarity and alignment

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business operations and/or business analytics
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and data analysis
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience
  • Bonus points
  • Master's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience developing and maintaining business reporting and invoicing solutions
  • Experience in the grocery and/or retail industry
