About the Role

The Core Rider team sits within Uber ANZ's Mobility Consumer Growth team. The Core Rider team is the key pillar of Uber's rider experience, engagement and retention strategy. This role owns Rider Experience, manages the Consumer Growth investment budget and CRM operations, with the goal of improving rider experience and building a cohesive strategy to engage riders, improve retention and drive growth.

What You'll Do

1. Own Rider Experience for ANZ: monitor key experience metrics, deep dive into problem areas, create recommendations based on analytical insights and execute to solve user problems to improve rider experience.

2. Manage and Optimise Investment: own weekly investment tracking, optimising the process to improve insights and make data driven decisions. Conduct monthly reviews of performance and recommendations to improve investment allocation and promotion performance.

3. Oversee CRM Operations: be the control tower for all CRM being sent to Riders in ANZ, identify improvements and optimise processes to protect and enhance rider experience, and drive growth.

The Experience You'll Bring

1. Experience: 3+ years of proven experience applying analytics to tackle business problems (for example, in consulting, investment banking)

2. Ideally experience within Ops or an Ops-parallel function (e.g. CommOps, BD)

3. Problem solving: you are naturally curious and are motivated by solving problems, however complicated or ambiguous they may be. You have the ability to break down ambiguous problems by applying structure and using data-driven insights

4. Initiative and ownership: you manage and deliver end-to-end projects with autonomy in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines, and you have demonstrated ability to coordinate, plan and prioritise tasks across multiple projects

5. Communication skills: you can effectively communicate complicated insights and arguments both verbally and in writing

6. Collaboration: you work well with other people and can handle engagement with multiple partners from different teams, locally and internationally
