Winning suburbs is critical for US Eats success, and you will be at the forefront. We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about designing and building creative solutions to our most challenging problems and being the analytical powerhouse behind the team. This role calls for a combination of data-based insights' generation, crafting and communicating strategic insights to senior leadership to influence decision making, owning projects and initiatives, fluency across all sides of the Uber Eats marketplace, and a #GoGetIt mentality.

What You'll Do

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Eat's business performance in the suburbs and share strategic insights with senior leadership to influence decision making
  • Develop executive-level communications and presentations for Delivery's senior leadership team
  • Provide analytical thought leadership for big picture strategy projects (Flywheel, Launch & Expansion, etc) partnering directly with other project lead team members
  • Identify, scope, and recommend solutions, then take ownership for delivering on the project and the outcomes, as well as keeping leadership informed of progress
  • Play a leadership role in developing and standardizing analytical tools; building executive level dashboards, frameworks and processes; to up-level and redefine analytically grounded decision making at all levels of the business
  • Work cross-functionally with other operations teams as well as Commercial, Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, etc. to ensure insights inform broader critical initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • 1.5+ years of professional work experience in a related field (consulting, investment banking, technology, operations, strategy, or analytics)
  • Strong SQL proficiency and Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Bachelors Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Experience problem-solving and proposing unique solutions to complex issues
  • Proven ability to balance multiple critical tasks and to consistently deliver against hard deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting data & insights to a sophisticated audience
  • Strong collaboration skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with territory and cross functional teams
  • Strong business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly develop strategies and make decisions

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
