About the Role

The Uber Eats team is looking for a sharp, highly motivated operations leader to join our US & Canada Grocery and Retail Operations Team to partner with some of our most strategic partners to help merchants grow through maximizing the return of their investment on the platform. As the Grocery and Convenience Regional Growth Lead, you will work hand-in-hand with our merchant partners, our Enterprise Account Managers, and our broader Operations organization to drive incremental revenue growth at a regional level, by focusing on the most loved local brands.. You'll work cross-functionally with product, marketing, data science, operations and commercial teams to drive user adoption and incremental growth through focusing on making our offering as relevant and compelling as possible at the local level, celebrating what makes each neighborhood and merchant unique. You'll lead through ambiguity to deliver high impact initiatives that can improve customer experiences across the US & Canada while having ownership and autonomy over your work.

What You Will Do

  • Manage Demand Growth Strategies at a regional and local level: Develop and execute tailored marketing and investment plans for a portfolio of regional merchant partners in the US.
  • Analyze Performance & Optimize Strategy: Use data-driven insights to assess partner performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategies to enhance investment returns eventually unlocking investment on the platform from merchant partners.
  • Own Execution & Implementation: Execute growth playbooks, test new demand strategies, and drive revenue through methodical experimentation and optimization.
  • Engage with External Stakeholders: Partner with strategic merchant partners on strategy and execution to optimize their performance on UberEats, supporting their investment and demand generation decisions.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with internal teams-including Sales, Marketing, and Operations-to ensure seamless execution of merchant growth strategies.
  • Develop Scalable Processes: Implement best practices and operational efficiencies to scale demand growth programs across multiple partners.
  • Allocate capital: Develop frameworks to determine where to invest capital and in what ratios based on the characteristics of various markets.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of operations, business/ general management, strategy, planning, management consulting or similar experience
  • Proficiency in Excel/ Google Sheets required, SQL proficiency preferred
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing small teams with outsized business impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences
  • Experienced in solving strategically and analytically complex business problems using data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • You have experience delivering on multifaceted, sophisticated projects with many partners and stakeholders across the business
  • Strong experience building and executing complex processes
  • Proven ability to balance multiple critical tasks and consistently delivering against hard deadlines
  • Experience with quantitative data analysis, deep measurable insights, modeling, and sophisticated test plan design and analysis
  • Strong collaboration and partner management skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with commercial and cross functional teams

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$140,000 per year - USD$155,000 per year.

For Miami, FL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$140,000 per year - USD$155,000 per year.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year - USD$172,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year - USD$172,000 per year.
