About the Role
To unlock the next wave of growth in the online food delivery space in Japan. The Strategy & Planning team works together with the Japan operations teams to achieve that ambition through thought partnership, driving business' strategic bets and developing long-term strategy
Your Impact In Role
1. Affordability strategy
- Lead strategic reviews and development of what affordability means to our consumers
- Develop and lead experiments/ tests on net new levers to drive affordability
2. Geo strategy
- Identify potential geos with growth opportunities and the levers needed to unlock it
- Program manage across multiple cross-functional teams
- Maintain geo dashboards and drive strategic discussions on performance

3. New growth bets (primarily consumer-facing)
- To develop the local go-to-market plan for global big bets
- Incubate and drive 0 to 1 for these new initiatives
The Experience You'll Bring
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced stakeholder management skills - Experience influencing across functions in a matrix organization
- Ability to work with ambiguity
- Effective team player
- Strong communications skills with fluency in English
- Working knowledge of SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Strategy or Management consulting is preferred
- Experience in internet, e-commerce, technology experience is preferred
- Working level Japanese
