Sr Sales Ops Associate, Acquisition Center of Excellence
About the Role
The Acquisition Excellence Sr Associate will be a key contributor within Uber's Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE) within Delivery Commercial Ops (DCO), supporting the global transformation of our lead-to-close processes across Uber's Delivery business. This individual will partner closely with global and regional Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Enablement, and Tooling teams to design, document, and implement scalable acquisition programs and process improvements.
The ideal candidate has a strong operational mindset, excels at translating field feedback into clear, structured documentation and business requirements, and thrives in cross-functional environments. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys process building, stakeholder collaboration, and improving the day-to-day experience of commercial teams.

- Create, maintain, and evolve detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key acquisition workflows across merchant segments (e.g., inbound, outbound, self-serve)
- Translate high-level strategy into tactical workflows that can be adopted consistently across regions and segments
- Identify and document regional nuances, while promoting global standardization
Stakeholder Engagement & Field Collaboration
- Serve as a bridge between commercial teams and centralized functions (e.g., Product, Engineering, Enablement) to capture field feedback and pain points
- Conduct listening tours, workshops, and win/loss analysis to ensure merchant-facing teams are heard and included in design cycles
- Partner with Sales and Strategy to prioritize process pain points and improvement opportunities
Business Requirements & Tooling Alignment
- Own the drafting of business requirements and user stories to support tooling enhancements, in collaboration with the Business Technology Engineering team and Digital Field Experience team
- Support UAT, rollout planning, and change management efforts for CoE-driven tooling updates
Program Implementation & Measurement
- Help manage implementation roadmaps for new acquisition programs or process improvements
- Define success metrics and partner with Insights teams to monitor adoption, impact, and ROI
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Business Process Management, Sales Ops Program Management
- Experience writing SOP's or structured process documentation in a business context
- Experience working with or defining requirements for technical teams
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM
- Experience in Google Suite, Confluence and project management tools such as: Asana or JIRA, or similar programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6-8+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth commercial organization (preferably in marketplace or SaaS)
- Familiarity with fast paced GTM structure or comparable multi-product, multi-segment global sales organizations
- Strong understanding of lead management, pipeline creation, and sales development workflows
- Experience participating in tool implementations or large-scale process change initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly explain complex processes to non-technical audiences
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$116,000 per year - USD$128,500 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year - USD$143,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year - USD$143,000 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$116,000 per year - USD$128,500 per year.
