Sr Retail & Projects Operations Manager
About the Role
We're looking for a strategic and analytical problem solver to join Uber Eats' Marketplace Product Champions team.
In this senior role, you'll help shape the Retail Product vision for the Latin America (LatAm) business by leading key marketplace initiatives across multiple workstreams. You'll oversee major Retail product launches, ensuring successful execution and measurable impact.
We're seeking someone independent, resourceful, and proactive-a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, challenges conventions, brings bold ideas, and knows how to prioritize and deliver results.
As the connection between LatAm Operations and Global Product teams, you'll champion regional priorities, influence product roadmaps, and drive long-term impact by improving courier experience, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Success in this role means navigating complex priorities, aligning cross-functional teams, acting with urgency, and transforming ambiguity into clear, actionable strategies-all with resilience and strategic focus.
This is a high-impact, high-ownership position that combines marketplace strategy, strategic thinking, and operational excellence. You'll be expected to think big, move fast, and deliver meaningful outcomes, while building strong relationships and influencing diverse teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead Retail Product Rollouts: Manage scoping, testing, launches, and post-launch analysis for Retail product deployments in LatAm, partnering with Product, Regional, and Local teams to drive adoption and operational success.
- Own Marketplace Performance: Monitor and optimize key performance indicators related to supply health and reliability.
- Drive Regional Product Planning: Lead the LatAm product planning cycle, translating local insights into strategic recommendations, identifying product gaps, and influencing global roadmaps.
- Deliver Operational Impact: Represent LatAm Operations in Product discussions, advocating for features that enhance courier engagement, earnings, retention, and marketplace efficiency.
- Influence Product Decisions: Use data-driven insights to identify challenges, propose solutions, and guide teams toward impactful actions.
- Identify Opportunities: Proactively surface improvements to marketplace efficiency, measure impact, and collaborate across teams to implement them.
- Communicate and Align Stakeholders: Maintain clear, consistent communication across teams, presenting insights and recommendations that inform decision-making.
- Lead Analytical Deep Dives: Investigate root causes of marketplace issues, build strong business cases with data, and drive alignment through clear storytelling.
- Manage Feedback and Bugs: Coordinate regional feedback, prioritize bug resolution, and support best practices to improve adoption and performance.
