Sr Program Manager, Talent Selection & Assessment Innovation
Today• Seattle, WA
San Francisco, CANew York, NY
About the Role
Uber is redefining how talent is selected in an era of rapid change and AI disruption. We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to lead our global Selection & Assessment innovation agenda - blending scientific rigor with commercial speed. This role is both a thought leader and operator: you will shape the future of how Uber hires, while ensuring today's programs are scaled, defensible, and delivering measurable impact.
If you are an I/O Psychologist who wants to challenge convention, push the envelope on assessment validity in the AI age, and help reinvent how a global company hires, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Serve as Uber's in-house authority on Selection & Assessment, setting strategy and leading global execution across TA.
- Drive innovation: evaluate emerging tools, AI-driven risks to validity, and design next-gen approaches to stay ahead of industry shifts.
- Build programs that balance scientific defensibility with commercial agility - moving fast, testing, learning, and adapting.
- Partner with TA leadership, People Analytics, and Legal to ensure practices are scalable, compliant, and business-relevant.
- Translate complex psychometrics into clear, practical insights for recruiters, hiring managers, and executives.
- Track program impact through data analytics, connecting Selection & Assessment directly to Uber's Quality of Hire strategy.
- Interface directly with the VP of TA and senior leaders across the organization, influencing strategic decisions and ensuring alignment with broader talent goals.
- Be a visible thought partner both inside and outside Uber, shaping how the industry thinks about the future of selection at scale.
