About the Role
Uber's Global Insurance team provides insurance products and solutions that enable our business operations in over 60 countries. We're looking for a Senior Program Manager to strategically guide cross-functional teams, including insurance risk management, claims, legal, actuarial, product, engineering and data science - on work ranging from business planning and analysis, to design and implementation of projects across our global portfolio. Things move quickly at Uber, and we need talent that moves at Uber speed while focusing on delivering sustainable solutions and outcomes!
What You'll Do
- Facilitate a global portfolio: Lead the strategic planning and operational execution for a global portfolio of initiatives, ensuring they are directly aligned with and driving our highest-level organizational goals.

- Provide operational leverage: Serve as the central point of influence to align disparate teams and functions-including Claims, Product Management, Engineering, Actuarial, and Risk Management-to deliver on a shared vision. You will be responsible for translating high-level strategy into executable plans and ensuring all teams are rowing in the same direction.
- Ensure high-quality communications: Craft compelling, executive-level communications that distill complex topics into clear, actionable insights. This role isn't just assembling reports, you will shape the narrative and influence decision-making with internal and external leaders.
- Roll up your sleeves: Champion continuous improvement by identifying and addressing systemic business problems. You'll go beyond short-term fixes to design and implement sustainable, scalable solutions that strengthen the entire program portfolio.
- Follow-up & follow-through: Drive accountability for achieving key program outcomes and goals. You will establish clear metrics for success and hold yourself and your partners accountable for delivering measurable impact.
- Partner globally: Engage with internal and external stakeholders across Uber's operations to help ensure effective programs around the world!
