You'll need to deep dive into the details at one end and see the broader picture at the other end to drive sound business decisions backed by quantitative analyses, rapid experimentation, and qualitative insights in an ever-changing and evolving marketplace landscape. This role requires proficiency in data analytics, an eye for business, an understanding of customers' needs, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

About the role
As a Senior Marketplace Operations Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable levers to foster supply and demand growth and engagement across the region. On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Monitor marketplace performance in 10 countries and nearly 100 cities
- Build performance monitoring frameworks for Uber product portfolio and develop cross-product pricing, investment recommendations
- Design and implement competitive intel processes and monitor Uber competitive landscape
- Design proposals for supply- and demand-side investments, execute them and evaluate their performance
- Work on innovative projects, digging deep into the backbone of the CEE marketplace using advanced analytical tools
- Launch new marketplace product features, including advanced pricing technologies
- Drive automation of key business processes
- Design and execute marketplace experiments and leverage their results to drive operational improvements in the marketplace
- Support financial management and budgeting for the region
- Contribute to CEE strategy development and implementation
What you'll need
- A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in business intelligence / strategy / analytics / consulting or related areas is preferred, but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
- Data extraction, cleansing, analysis and visualization - strong competency with SQL, Excel (Gsheets) is a must
- At least basic familiarity with tools and methods of statistical or econometric analysis
- At least basic understanding of budgeting and P&L management and ability to develop business cases
- Ability to translate data insights into recommendations and link deep dive data analysis with broader strategy
- Spoken and written English proficiency
