Sr Manager, Fleets Supply Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a sharp, analytical and highly-organized individual to lead fleet partners in the region focusing on running operations and improving performance.

Fleet partners are entrepreneurs who manage their own fleet of vehicles and drivers. They partner with Uber and play a major role in supporting our supply growth in a majority of India markets. This is a key piece in our strategy, to help catalyze Uber's growth in the region. This is a unique opportunity, with a focus on building, managing and scaling fleets for Uber platform in the region.

The ideal candidate has a very comprehensive skill set. Ability to think long term, manage cross functional stakeholders, capture value through performance management. The candidate should have strong execution skills and be able to set up on ground scalable processes and influence partners to set up the right operations.

Your Impact in Role

  • Build and lead, from the ground up, account management for fleet partnerships across India
  • Closely manage vehicle addition targets, drive higher supply hours to maximize the benefit of fleets to the platform
  • Continue to find efficiencies in fleet ops (higher completion rates, increased asset utilization, find lower opex cost opportunities)
  • Cultivate a highly successful and engaged KAM team through hands-on coaching and building deep understanding of the fleet business
  • Own critical fleet partner relationships across India
  • Prepare and give business reviews to Uber senior management regarding progress against KPIs
  • Skillfully manage multiple projects while embracing the fast pace of our company
  • Work closely with the global fleet, product and tech teams to ensure appropriate tools and tech are built to manage fleet businesses

What You Will Need

  • Extensive account management experience and/or experience in the Indian market, including experience working for technology/ e-commerce/ FMCG/ transportation related industries
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively with strong internal & external stakeholder management to execute high-impact projects
  • Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment, prioritise and be able to work in collaboration with multiple teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Willingness to travel across India as required
  • Previous consulting or startup experience is a plus
