Sr Manager, Curb Experience
About the Role
The Airport and Venues use case is one of the most important at Uber. These trips are many riders' first use case and they represent a material percentage of Uber's overall trip volume and gross bookings. At Uber, we recognize an opportunity to help positively shape the travel experience for riders around the world. The Uber Airports & Venues Ops team is obsessed with driving excellent airport & venue experiences for all of our customers: riders, drivers, and airports and venue operators.
The Sr. Manager of Curb Experience will be responsible for owning the strategic roadmap for scaling key Airport & Venue initiatives. Whether it's scaling new dispatch tech to drive increased efficiency, expanding partnerships, or deploying more immersive brand experiences, this person will play a key cross-functional role of bringing future vision to life.
What You'll Do
- Winning the Curb: Designing our futuristic airport end-state pickup and dropoff experiences. Responsible for scoping, roadmapping, and executing the initiatives required to work to move from aspirational to implemented.
- Global Dispatch Strategy: Developing our strategy for scaling various airport dispatch models; includes partnership with Tech, archetypes for launch, etc.
- AVs for Airports and Venues: Help lead and design the strategy to optimize AV operations at airports and venues
- New verticals and services: Lead exploration of new partnerships and integrations
- Stakeholder Management & Strategy: Partner with global groups to influence roadmaps across organizations. Work closely with Marketing, Product, Ops teams to pursue opportunities
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve blockers to expansion, and work with Product, Marketing and Operations to implement fixes and solves for roadblocks. Ensure the implementation aligns with the desired outcomes
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in economics, management, finance, or similar field
- 8+ years of experience in operations, strategy, product, growth, or cross-functional program management
- Aviation industry experience; including direct experience partnering with airlines or airport operators

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on complex partner negotiations; M&A experience a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven mindset and ability to turn insights into action
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and building 0-to-1 initiatives
- Experience in launching new products or growing adoption in cross-functional environments
- Strong business acumen and ability to build compelling cases for investment
- SQL experience and working closely with Data Science teams is a plus
- Consumer-obsessed with a deep understanding of what makes a customer experience outstanding, both within and outside of an app.
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$167,000 per year - USD$186,000 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$186,000 per year - USD$207,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$186,000 per year - USD$207,000 per year.
For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$186,000 per year - USD$207,000 per year.
