The Content Catalog Ops Sr. Analyst plays a key role in driving initiatives towards improving the quality of our Global Catalog. This position operates in a wide playing field containing content standards, assortment quality and attribute coverage across priority and star markets.

The position is crucial in aligning all countries under a unified catalog strategy employing a global approach, ensuring all countries operate in a cohesive manner, using best-practices that can be applied across markets. The catalog ops manager will not only bring the knowledge and expertise from the Global Catalog Ops team to the countries, but it will also gather insights from each local market, sharing valuable learnings across the board. Following this global direction, local catalog teams become more efficient and coordinated, reducing discrepancies and improving overall catalog quality.

A Catalog Ops Analyst works both on data extraction and analysis as well as operational tasks and projects. He/she finds explanations and solutions in the data, through pilots and testing and has a good end to end understanding of online retail and knows how to work as a team with engineers, ops managers and local teams. Creating relevant insights by extracting and merging product and business data using SQL as a key skill. Knows how to set priorities and works fast and efficiently balancing analytics and operational work.

What You'll Do

  • Analytical Deep Dives & Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure the success of strategies and initiatives. Identify areas for catalog quality improvement, and provide recommendations to local teams and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, including local catalog, product ops, and tech to gain support for initiatives that drive growth and track progress across the regions.
  • Build & Scale Ops Processes: Create and scale processes Globally, enabling the business to operate efficiently and grow. Use data-driven decision-making to understand performance and prioritize high-impact processes.
  • Operational Project & Task Execution: Carry out projects, including tracking quality issues, conducting root-cause analyses, and measuring marketplace performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in a related field (operations, strategy, analytics, tech).
  • Advanced Data Analysis with strong SQL skills.
  • Be data driven and action oriented, with advanced planning & organizational skills.
  • Multitasking; working on more than one project at the same time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, to clearly convey and drive consensus across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • English professional proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with catalogs at an e-commerce or technology company.
  • Skilled at distilling large sets of unstructured data into useful insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with focus on leveraging data to solve business problems; be able to foresee the impact of projects in different areas of the company and create solutions at scale.
  • Understanding the context and impact of a project and being able to set priorities.
  • Comfort with evolving priorities and an ability to operate autonomously.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
