About the Role
As a Senior Strategy & Planning Associate in the EMEA Delivery Strategy & Planning Team at Uber, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving innovative business strategies while solving complex and high-impact problems. Your work will directly support long-term success across all EMEA Delivery markets.
You will collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders across a wide range of functions to help define the future of Uber Eats. You'll partner closely with the Delivery leadership team and take end-to-end ownership of strategic initiatives on our roadmap - from ideation to execution.
What You'll Do
Planning & Governance - Lead governance and planning efforts for EMEA Delivery. Ensure alignment with local, regional, and global priorities, while securing strong representation in key decision-making forums.

Market Research - Conduct robust research to understand macroeconomic dynamics, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. Translate findings into actionable insights.
Analytical Leadership & Problem Solving - Apply structured thinking and strong analytical frameworks to solve ambiguous and complex problems. Use data and business logic to uncover insights and drive solutions, building clear, compelling narratives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with local, regional, and global teams (e.g., Operations, Product, Legal, Policy, Finance, Tax) to design and deliver cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact.
Zero-to-One Initiatives - Own and launch new strategic projects from inception to implementation - identifying opportunities, defining direction, and leading execution.
Strategic Advisory - Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to EMEA Delivery leadership. Take full ownership of critical issues, drive decision-making, and influence senior stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management - Build strong relationships with cross-functional leaders, effectively aligning priorities and securing support for key strategic programs.
What You'll Need
- 4-5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or a related analytical role.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity and solve novel challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel (must-have); familiarity with SQL is a plus.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into actionable insights.
- Solid business and financial acumen, with experience using analytics to inform strategic decisions.
- A genuine interest in the online food delivery space and a curiosity to understand Uber's business and marketplace dynamics.
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills to drive high-quality execution of complex initiatives.
- Exceptional collaboration skills, with a track record of building effective working relationships across diverse stakeholders and business functions.
