The Senior Strategic Initiatives Manager is the most experienced individual contributor on the team, playing a critical role in advancing high-priority initiatives that shape the long-term direction of the business. While this position does not include formal management responsibilities, it carries elevated scope and visibility. The role combines strategic input, execution ownership, and peer guidance, making it a trusted partner to leadership and a steady resource for the team.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Lead Key Initiatives: Take ownership of high-impact projects from design to execution, ensuring progress against strategic goals
  • Partner with Leadership: Provide thought partnership to the Strategic Initiatives Lead and senior stakeholders, offering analysis, recommendations, and clarity on priorities
  • Enable Collaboration: Build alignment across teams and functions, navigating stakeholder needs with a balance of diplomacy and pragmatism
  • Coach and Support: Share knowledge and best practices with junior team members, helping to raise the overall bar of the group
  • Translate Complexity: Distill ambiguous or complex problems into clear actions, frameworks, and next steps that drive impact

Basic Qualifications

  • Strategic Judgment: Able to evaluate trade-offs, anticipate downstream impacts, and focus effort on the most valuable opportunities
  • Bias for Action: Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving work forward with imperfect information
  • Influence without Authority: Builds credibility through sound judgment, effective communication, and consistent delivery
  • Team Orientation: Holds high standards while fostering a collaborative, supportive team culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Investment assessment / sizing
  • Proven project management capabilities
