As a hands-on engineer, you will build and evangelise next generation products at scale for our fellow engineers that aim at increasing developer productivity and throughput.

What you'll do

1. Develop and maintain foundational frameworks.
2. Design, build, and maintain sophisticated, scalable software frameworks within Developer Platform.
3. Collaborate and communicate with a globally distributed team to help discover gaps in our frameworks, tooling, and infrastructure and help drive solutions.
4. Write high-quality code and related documentation
5. Raise the bar in end-to-end and integration tests

What you'll need

1. BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
2. 7+ years of experience building and managing distributed systems, as well as a sound understanding of distributed system fundamentals
3. Proficient in one of the following programming languages: Go, Java as well as good SQL skills and the ability to pick up new ones
4. Experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes
5. Grit, drive and a strong sense of ownership, coupled with an appetite for collaboration
6. Strong written / verbal communication, and the ability to manage stakeholders and leadership
7. Distributed systems
8. API design
9. Strong Experience with SQL and Data pipelines
10. Experience with integration tests
