About the Role
The Global Community Operations organization provides support to Uber customers and partners worldwide. As we scale our Autonomous Vehicle (AV) operations in the Middle East, we are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Sr Program Manager. This role is essential to enabling seamless AV partner launches, ensuring operational rigor, and driving critical fieldwork needed to test and scale support capabilities across the region.
This is a high-ownership role based in Dubai, with significant travel to active sites in Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, etc. The candidate will also work closely with internal teams and external vendors to execute on-the-ground initiatives that directly impact launch success, support infrastructure, and AV capability maturity.
What you'll do
- Lead Partner Launch Readiness: Work closely with our partners before, during, and after launch to ensure compliance with operational and support requirements, helping localize processes for each partner.
- SOP Validation & Field Testing: Drive development and on-the-ground validation of SOPs, including dry runs, iterative feedback loops, and real-world scenario testing.
- Capability Testing & Feature Feedback: Act as the primary field touchpoint for validating technical capabilities, capturing real-time feedback, and informing product teams of emerging needs or blockers.
- Remote Assistance Insights: Shadow Operators to analyze key metrics like intervention types, resolution ability, and handle time-building insights to guide future RA framework design.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the connective tissue between Community Operations, Remote Assistance, Product, Tech, and Support teams to align field operations with broader strategic goals.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in operations, field deployment, program management, or a related domain.
- Strong operational execution and organizational skills with comfort working in highly ambiguous and evolving environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and with external stakeholders (partners, vendors).
- Analytical mindset with experience collecting structured feedback and converting it into actionable insights.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mobility, tech, or transportation-related industries;
- Proven ability to thrive in 0-to-1 environments; a hustle mindset and bias for action are essential.
- Exposure to SOP development in a high-complexity field setting.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in cross-functional and partner-facing settings; Arabic speaking skills is a bonus
- Comfortable with high travel requirements and dynamic day-to-day responsibilities.
