Senior Product Manager, Uber Navigation

What the Candidate Will Do

  1. Craft the vision, strategy and roadmap for Uber navigation.
  2. Lead the product development lifecycle including ideation, defining requirements, go to market strategy, quality and launch.
  3. Work closely with engineering, design, data science and internal stakeholders to ship features that enable great navigation experiences for our users.
  4. Foster innovation, use of cutting-edge technologies and outside-of-the-box thinking in the team.
  5. See the big picture and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for meaningful improvements across navigation use cases.
  6. Lead the planning and manage and prioritize roadmap for Uber navigation and ensure alignment with overall company strategy and stakeholders.
  7. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of your features.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in the map industry.
  9. Communicate effectively with both the technical and non-technical audiences.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in geospatial or consumer facing products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building map related products
  • Experience in building user facing products

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.

For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
