Senior Product Manager, Maps ML

As a Product Manager on the Traffic & Closures team, you will define and deliver the systems that help Uber understand real-world road conditions - from daily traffic speeds to sudden incidents like construction, weather disruptions, and closures. Your work will directly improve ETAs, routing quality, and trip reliability for users across the globe. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of maps, user experience, data, and machine learning, with reach across Uber's Autonomous, Mobility, and Delivery businesses.

1. Define and execute the product vision for Uber's Traffic & Closures systems, balancing platform scale with user experience impact.
2. Partner with engineering and data science to improve traffic forecasts, detect closures in real time, and respond quickly to unexpected incidents.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to ensure ETAs and routes are consistently accurate and trusted.
4. Champion the user experience, ensuring traffic and closure systems translate into smoother trips.

---- Basic Qualifications ----

1. 5+ years of product management or related experience in building large-scale data, platform, or infrastructure products.
2. Strong analytical skills with experience using data to define problems, measure outcomes, and inform decisions.
3. Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.

1. Experience working with geospatial, traffic, or real-time data systems.
2. Familiarity with machine learning powered prediction products.
3. Ability to connect technical improvements to tangible user experience outcomes
