About the Role

The Fleets team at Uber empowers Earners and Fleets of all sizes to access and manage vehicles profitably, while creating near and long term value for Uber. As the Sr PM for AV fleets, you will be responsible for the product roadmap at Uber to enable commercial scale of autonomous vehicle fleets on our platform. You will define the strategy and execute the roadmap to enable fleets to safely and efficiently operate autonomous vehicles on Uber. This product leader will work closely across internal teams at Uber in addition to external autonomous vehicle providers and fleet operators.

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

  1. Own the end to end strategy for autonomous vehicle fleets tech
  2. Define PRDs and lead the execution of the AV fleet tech roadmap building a solution to scale AV deployments on Uber with 3rd party fleet partners
  3. Work closely with the internal cross functional autonomous working group at Uber to drive alignment on complex projects and maintain execution velocity
  4. Work closely with external partners at both AV companies and fleets driving strategic alignment and joint roadmap execution
  5. Dig deeply into user problems and performance at AV depots
  6. Regularly present updates on strategy, progress and impact to senior leadership at Uber

---- Basic Qualifications ----
  1. Minimum 5 years of Product Management experience working on consumer and/or enterprise facing products
  2. Experience working with and leading large scale cross functional partnerships
  3. Customer obsession - a clear track record of delivering elegant solutions for true user problems
  4. A high bar across the board - for your own contributions, for the people you work with, and for the products you work on

---- Preferred Qualifications ----
  1. A background where you've had to roll up your sleeves, you're ready to get the job done even if it means taking on extra responsibilities
  2. Prior experience growing a new business vertical or team from the ground up
  3. Expertise / background in directly related areas - designing B2B solutions, autonomous vehicles, fleet management, etc.
