Senior Operations Manager
About the Role
Our LatAm Travel team works in close collaboration with in-market regional teams and is responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and execution for airport operations across Latin America. We are looking for a sharp, results-oriented, and highly motivated individual with a strong mix of project management, analytical skills, stakeholder management, and problem-solving ability. In this role, you will operationalize processes and lead high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
You will help define strategy and deliver results for airports across LatAm, working closely with regional and cross-functional stakeholders including Central Operations, Global Product, Community Operations, and Marketing.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Strategic Ownership: Lead airport operations initiatives across LatAm by proactively identifying business needs, prioritizing projects, and defining the best path to achieve strategic objectives.
- OKRs and Performance Management: Own key metrics and OKRs, providing strategic direction and ensuring consistent execution across initiatives to meet regional targets.
- Business Insight & Strategy: Translate operational and financial data into actionable insights and strategic plans. Develop a deep understanding of the key levers that drive business performance.
- Problem Solving: Identify root causes of risks and opportunities, develop practical solutions, and evaluate trade-offs to recommend the most effective approach. Balance hands-on execution with strategic guidance across diverse airport contexts.
- Process Optimization: Design, implement, and scale core processes and analyses across LatAm. Continuously review performance to ensure strong regional oversight while enabling tailored, market-specific approaches.
- Product Collaboration: Partner closely with Product teams to propose and prioritize features that improve the airport experience. Measure impact, advocate for launches, and ensure regional needs are reflected in product development.
- Stakeholder Management: Lead cross-functional initiatives by building strong relationships with global and local partners across Operations, Marketing, Customer Support, Product, Policy, and Legal.
Basic Qualifications

- Data-Driven Mentality: Make strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation. Experience getting in the weeds of data, balanced with the ability to see the big picture

- Communication: Portuguese or Spanish and English proficiency. Demonstrated experience interpreting and presenting data to various audiences in an engaging and comprehensive, yet succinct manner
- Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities. Maintains healthy working relationships, even in disagreements

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Cross Functional teams
- Experience in Operations, Consulting or related.
- Exposure to AI driven tools or advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency
- Experience turning complex data into actionable plans
