About The Team:

Uber Eats is seeking a Senior Operations and Logistics Manager to lead and improve key operational processes, including vendor selection, supplier performance, and overall efficiency. This role is both strategic and execution-focused, requiring strong operational experience, analytical skills, and a passion for building scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, from sourcing and contract negotiation to onboarding, execution, and performance tracking, while driving supply chain stability and cost-effectiveness. Your goal is to build reliable, efficient partnerships and scalable operations that grow with the business.

This is a highly cross-functional role. You will work closely with teams such as Local Sales, Onboarding, Operations, and APAC Sourcing, as well as external vendors, to lead high-impact initiatives that improve operational outcomes and deliver measurable business value.

Your Impact in Role:

1. Drive Operational Efficiency: Leverage data and root-cause analysis to identify process gaps, improve supplier performance, and enhance fulfillment quality across procurement and operations.
2. Build a High-Performing Vendor Ecosystem: Manage the full vendor lifecycle, from identifying top-tier partners and negotiating contracts to onboarding, execution, and performance improvement. Implement frameworks that ensure reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective service delivery.
3. Scale Supply Chain Infrastructure: Forecast inventory and procurement needs using data insights, assess operational risks, and implement scalable supply chain solutions that support business growth.
4. Lead and Develop Teams: Manage and mentor a small team to execute operational priorities while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.

The Experience You'll Bring:

1. Solid background in project management, consulting, operations, procurement, or related fields, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results
2. Advanced data analytics skills with a strong, data-driven approach to problem-solving
3. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with both internal teams and external partners
4. Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

1. Proven ability to manage the full vendor lifecycle, from sourcing to performance tracking
2. Track record of building scalable, cost-efficient operational solutions
3. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Salesforce
