About the Role
Uber's global paid social team sets the benchmark for innovation and scale in performance marketing. As a Senior Manager, Paid Social, you will lead strategic development and execution of global paid social initiatives, leveraging your deep expertise across Meta, Snap, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
This role goes beyond execution-you will set the vision for scalable automation, collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ad Tech, Product, Data Science), and drive user growth and retention strategies through advanced experimentation, data-driven insights, and cutting-edge technology solutions.
You are a cross-functional influencer, a technical strategist, and a leader with managerial experience, and a deep understanding of how global platforms, tooling, and creative come together to drive measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do
- Own the global strategy for paid social growth campaigns, with accountability for performance across regions and lines of business.
- Architect automation and optimization frameworks in collaboration with Ad Tech and Product partners-using tools like Meta APIs, Smartly, and custom-built solutions to scale operations.
- Translate business goals into marketing strategies, using experimentation frameworks and forecasting models to influence investment decisions and drive acquisition, retention, and revenue KPIs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with senior stakeholders including Engineering, Product, and Data Science to unlock efficiency and innovation in marketing systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on mobile attribution, measurement, pixel implementation-ensuring Uber remains ahead of industry and platform changes.
- Manage team members and contribute to a high-performing, globally integrated team culture.
- Represent the team in global leadership forums, surfacing insights, influencing roadmaps, and aligning with broader company objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of performance marketing experience, including deep ownership of global paid social efforts.
- 2+years of experience motivating and leading a team
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and cross-regional marketing initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in experimentation, incrementality measurement, and optimization techniques.
- Experience collaborating with Ad Tech teams and Product Managers to build and scale automation solutions using APIs or advanced scripts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing 8- to 9-figure annual budgets across multiple platforms and geographies.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Ads Manager, Smartly, MMPs (e.g., Appsflyer, Branch).
- Track record of driving business impact through automation and tooling innovation.
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and make strategic decisions under uncertainty.
- Deep understanding of two-sided marketplaces and the mechanics of both demand and supply growth.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to VP-level audiences.
- SQL proficiency and comfort with complex datasets and modeling.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$203,000 per year - USD$225,500 per year.
