Senior Manager, AV Operations, KSA
About the Role
We are seeking an outstanding individual to join the Autonomous Mobility & Delivery (AM&D) team leading AV Operations for KSA. This role will help build Uber's Autonomous future in Saudi with AV partners - including managing the overall launch process, daily monitoring, and growth in the country. You will effectively prioritize and adapt actions based on results and evolving AV trends. This is an Individual Contributor position to start.
This role will involve program planning, execution, and accountability to results - with a heavy dose of cross functional collaboration both internally and externally. You will also serve as the clear primary day-to-day touchpoint for the AV Tech provider and work closely to ensure seamless collaboration across Uber Ops, Fleets, Business Development, Tech, Marketing, Policy, Legal etc - both globally and locally in the region. You will need to work closely with the Policy team as well as the regulator on the Autonomous Vehicles Pilot and developing a framework for commercial scale.
As we partner with Autonomous Tech developers, fleet operators, and cities to bring about AV services, you'll be thinking about how to achieve success with early pilots and writing the playbook for future expansions. You'll have big-picture awareness, ensuring proper focus is on safety, privacy, equity, and environmental considerations alongside business fundamentals so that our efforts are welcomed equally by communities and customers.
