About the Role

Uber Retail is building a Grocery and Retail (GR) marketplace in Taiwan, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Account Manager to lead one of our most important retail partnerships. This role is crucial to the success of our retail strategy and will be responsible for shaping and executing the commercial vision for the account.

You will oversee account commercial strategy, manage executive-level relationships, and be accountable for driving sustained growth and profitability. The role requires a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional (XFN) stakeholders across operations, product, finance, and more to implement strategic initiatives that scale.

  • Account Management:

    Manage the day-to-day relationship with a key retail partner, ensuring alignment on goals, performance, and long-term partnership value.
  • Commercial Strategy:

    Partner with the General Manager and internal teams to develop and implement the account's commercial strategy, aligning business objectives and growth priorities.
  • Growth & Profitability:

    Be directly accountable for achieving revenue and margin targets, identifying new opportunities to grow the account sustainably.
  • Executive Stakeholder Engagement:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at the partner organization, acting as the trusted advisor and primary contact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with internal stakeholders-including operations, product, marketing, and finance-to deliver strategic initiatives and ensure alignment on key deliverables.
  • Problem Solving:

    Tackle complex business challenges with structured analysis, data-driven decision making, and collaborative planning.

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in Commercial or Account Management roles
  • 5+ years of experience in B2C industries, such as e-commerce, retail, or FMCG
  • Proven ability to manage and influence diverse internal and external partners
  • Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex partner or customer challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the CPG or retail industry
  • Strong track record in C-suite relationship management
  • Strategic mindset with the agility to navigate a fast-paced, evolving marketplace
  • Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with operations, finance, product, and other key internal teams
