The Marketplace Security Specialist is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the development, alignment, and execution of the Marketplace Security (MS) Program. This role drives regional program strategy, maintains governance frameworks, and ensures that policies, procedures, and operational support are consistent, effective, and locally adaptable.
What You'll Do
- Ensure Marketplace Security actions are executed efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with global strategy.
- Conduct continuous analysis to grow the Marketplace Security program by expanding security capabilities across business lines to enhance safety, mitigate risks, and drive value.
- Integrate analysis into the Marketplace Security capabilities to assist the operational response and development of the program.
- Conduct evaluation of Marketplace Security platforms and tools to ensure Global Security remains at the forefront of innovation and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with Uber's development and engineering teams to oversee technical delivery, ensuring security solutions are seamlessly integrated and aligned with operational needs.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in data analysis, intelligence, or security center operations with a focus on supporting business stakeholders.

- The ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in an exciting, fast-paced environment, both collaborating as a team to stay in sync and working independently to get the job done.

For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$90,000 per year - USD$100,000 per year.
