About the Role
The UberEats Shopping team drives critical growth for both online food delivery and grocery and retailer business. The Shopping science team work is diverse: model and algorithm design, product analytics and statistical modeling that generate insights to inform strategy. We build personalization Deals and collections products to help consumers discover what they want to order from both restaurants and grocery and retailer stores, encourage exploration and delight them with innovative relevant selections.
---- What the Candidate Will Do ----
- Analytics of product and users to generate insights
- Build Personalization products: eg, Content creation and evaluation
- User behavior understanding, eg: pricing and affordability elasticity.
- Offers and Promo products creation
- Long term value optimization
- XP design, setup, analysis and deep dives

---- Basic Qualifications ----
- 2-4 years of experience working in Economic space, building pricing, deals or promos product
- Expert in data analysis via SQL & Python foundation
- Clearly defined hypotheses and structures Experiment Analysis.
- Analytical rigor in approaching product problems.
---- Preferred Qualifications ----
- 4+ years of experience with ranking and recommender system, building personalization product
- Able to frame an ambiguous product space systematically.
- Strong product sense.
- Can help make data driven decisions.
