The APAC Delivery team at Uber plays a key role in driving the company's growth across diverse and dynamic markets, including Japan, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. We focus on building high-impact strategies and scalable operations that connect eaters with merchants in seamless, efficient ways. About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our APAC Delivery Commercial Operations team as a Sales Operations Lead for new business sales. This role partners closely with the Head of Acquisition for APAC, supporting the performance of a large, distributed team of Account Executives and Sales Managers responsible for onboarding new merchants across the region.

You'll play a critical role in solving high-impact challenges, accelerating sales performance, and shaping the operating model across key markets such as Japan, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. We're looking for a commercial operator with deep sales operations expertise, sharp analytical thinking, and a passion for operational excellence.

Your impact in role:

  • Lead the design and execution of a regional go-to-market plan for new merchant acquisition, including project milestones, workflows, and ownership.
  • Create consistent reporting and visibility across the sales funnel to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in performance.
  • Optimise sales team structure, territory design, and engagement rules to ensure efficiency and clarity across acquisition channels.
  • Design scalable incentive schemes and onboarding experiences that improve productivity and alignment across the sales organisation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Strategy, Operations, HR, and Legal teams to ensure compliant and coordinated delivery of acquisition initiatives.

The experience you'll bring:

  • Proven success in leading high-impact commercial or sales operations initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, with the ability to turn insights into strategic action.
  • A track record of driving improvements across sales processes, organisational design, or incentive programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across regional and functional teams.
  • Comfort operating independently in ambiguous situations, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
