As a Product Manager on the team, you'll work on one of the most exciting and high-potential opportunities in mobility.

In this role, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, user research, data science, operations and product marketing to build intelligent, intuitive and delightful products that make commuting via Uber seamless and stress-free-transforming Uber into the preferred way to get to/from work. What the Candidate Will Do
  1. Define and prioritize product requirements for features that improve the commuter experience-balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  2. Deeply understand rider behavior through user research, data analysis, and experimentation to identify pain points, motivations, and opportunities in the commute journey.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, user research, product marketing, and ops to bring new features and optimizations from idea to launch.
  4. Run experiments and A/B tests to measure the impact of product changes on key engagement metrics and iterate quickly based on learnings.
  5. Craft compelling product narratives and communicate insights, roadmaps, and progress to leadership and stakeholders-ensuring alignment and buy-in across teams.

Basic Qualifications
  1. Experience: 3+ years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative consumer-facing products with your fingerprints all over them. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  2. Strategic: You can craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy, and quarterly roadmap that your team and the business rallies behind.
  3. Storytelling: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and leadership.
  4. Analytical depth: you're experienced in running complex experiments and can deftly dive into data and analysis
  5. UX oriented: You think creatively about how to make products engaging, intuitive and delightful for users in a memorable way.
  6. Research driven: You continuously gather research insights on what our consumers need to drive deeper engagement across the Uber platform. You find a way to get the insights and data you need and whip it into an insightful story.
  7. Technical chops: you have collaborated with engineers in developing the technical architecture of the products you have built, and are comfortable discussing requirement and scope tradeoffs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on products that have a multi-sided marketplace is a strong plus.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$161,000 per year - USD$179,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$161,000 per year - USD$179,000 per year.

For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$161,000 per year - USD$179,000 per year.
