Product Manager II, Growth Platform
About the Role
Uber sends billions of messages to our users across channels such as Email, Push, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app surfaces, through an internally built CRM system.
As a Product Manager on the Growth Platform team, you will be instrumental in building the internal products that power Uber's growth engine. These products use automation, marketing, and in-app experiences to reach millions of customers across hundreds of cities worldwide. You will work with marketing, operations, and engineering teams to ensure the growth platform is intelligent, scalable, and reliable. The role requires a data-driven approach, experience in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of partners.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Build products that are scalable and reliable to meet the global scale of Uber's growth, ensuring millions of messages are processed per second with no messages left behind.
- Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch for end-to-end campaign deployment tools for customers of the Growth Platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a platform that meets the needs of multiple lines of business and delivers each message on time.
- Establish a shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities that lead to product execution.
- Make tradeoff decisions based on technical, user, and business insights.
- Monitor and measure launched products to feed insights back into the product development process to drive growth.
- Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results to various audiences, from internal partners to Uber executives.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical or analytical field.
- 3+ years of product experience, with at least 3-4 years of experience delivering highly successful and innovative products or platforms.
- Experience building large-scale, complex technical products and translating them into simple, user-centric products.
- Prior experience building internal applications, including marketing tools like automation and content authoring.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a technical field

- Prior experience building complex technical products is a plus.
- Interest and knowledge of the industry trends in Gen AI
- A "driver" personality, constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for great collaboration.
- High standards across the board, from your own contributions to the people you work with to the products you work on.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Passion for Uber's mission and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$161,000 per year - USD$179,000 per year.
