We believe that our people are the secret to our success. Our people team are at the core of our #BuildWithHeart value. As we grow, scale and diversify our business across APAC, you will be instrumental in partnering with the business to build a world class-employee experience.

About the Team

On Uber's Employee and Labor Relations (ELR) team, we clear the path to an empowered employee experience by fostering a healthy and productive culture. We do this by working directly with our employees to help them navigate workplace challenges such as conflict and issues related to misconduct.

About the Role

We are looking for a specialised case management expert to conduct workplace investigations into employee relations concerns and support overall positive employee engagement. You'll provide guidance and support to other case managers and make recommendations to business leaders to help resolve workplace concerns.

  • Analyze context, facts, and documentation gathered within ELR's case management process to develop balanced recommended actions that address any misconduct and restore damaged relationships
  • Facilitate restorative conversations (mediated discussions) between employees with an emphasis on repairing relationships
  • Maintain confidential records within a shared case management tool; leverage the case management tool to identify themes affecting employee groups or subgroups, and develop a measured response related to trends
  • Foster effective relationships with HR, Employment Legal, and business leaders at all levels
  • Actively support ELR priority projects

The Experience You'll Bring

  • Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 7+ years of experience in employee relations, mediation, or human resources-additional years of experience awarded for relevant advanced degrees

  • Strong data management skills with a focus on enhancing team-wide data standards and practices
  • Direct experience with conflict management techniques such as mediation and restorative practices
  • The ability to mentor teammates across a global ELR team and work independently to drive results at a high level without day-to-day supervision
