In this role, you will provide Tier 2 support for employee inquiries, partner with key HR stakeholders, and manage employee lifecycle processes with precision and empathy. The ideal candidate has prior experience using Workday or Oracle HCM, and is confident navigating ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system. *This is a hybrid position. Being present in the Chicago office every Tuesday through Thursday is mandatory.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Provide timely and empathetic Tier 2 HR support to employees across the U.S., resolving inquiries and managing more complex cases escalated from Tier 1.
  • Own employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, data changes, and leaves of absence-ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Operate as a Workday or Oracle HCM power user, updating employee data and running audits with precision.
  • Manage case resolution in ServiceNow, escalating issues appropriately while maintaining SLAs and service excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with Payroll, Benefits, HR Business Partners, and Legal on employee cases, ensuring seamless handoffs and clear communication.
  • Support documentation and standard operating procedures for Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams.
  • Identify process gaps and propose improvements to enhance the employee experience and streamline operations.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives to support People Operations priorities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in People Operations, HR Support, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 + years of experience in People Operations, HR Support, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday or Oracle HCM, plus familiarity with ServiceNow or equivalent case management tools.
  • Proven ability to manage employee requests and lifecycle transactions with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident interacting with all levels of employees and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable-comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate change.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
  • Experience supporting U.S. employee populations with exposure to employment regulations and compliance considerations.
  • Process improvement mindset, with a track record of suggesting or implementing optimizations in workflows or tools.
  • Willingness to be on-site in the Chicago office at least three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday).

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base hourly rate range for this role is USD$32.94 per hour - USD$34.62 per hour.
