Payment Partnerships Analyst
About the Role
Uber is one of the largest and most complex global merchants, processing over $100B annually in payments across 70+ countries. The Partnerships team is a core pillar of the Global Payments Group and is responsible for partnering with Uber's global payment partners to drive the strategic and operational infrastructure required to power Uber's payments platform. This team is critical to opening new geographies and product lines, reducing unit economics, and improving the user experience through enhanced payment solutions.
This role's primary responsibility will be to lead the project management for new payment method launches globally done through Uber's reverse API that enables Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to integrate with Uber. This role will also support strategic payment initiatives across the EMEA region.
What You'll Do
- Project manage technical integration and closely collaborate with internal technical teams and external POCs to launch new payment methods for Uber.
- Coordinate the end-to-end implementation of new payment methods or features, from technical integration to final go-live.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project schedules, partner documentations, and external dependencies.
- Serve as a central point of communication for the internal project team and PSPs to ensure alignment and clarity on objectives.
- Work cross-functionally (e.g. Product, Engineering, Business Development, Legal, Finance and Payments Compliance) to support the design and build critical payment systems
- Partner internally with regional business owners and LOBs to provide valuable payment insights and drive strategic alignment within the company
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of operations experience at a high-growth tech company or payments company.
- In-depth experience working with multiple stakeholders, including external partners.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects from start-to-finish without significant supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Bonus Points If
- Experience in payments - either focusing on the topic at a merchant, issuing bank, acquirer, network and/or payment processor, a plus.
- Strong knowledge of alternative payments methods and card payments.
- Strong communication skills.
