About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Operations Manager to lead the implementation of Uber's Future of Work (FoW) agenda within Mexico Mobility Operations. This role is key to ensuring that Uber remains at the forefront of regulatory innovation, while continuously improving the experience we offer to our earners.
You'll help design and operationalize complex workflows that align with evolving labor frameworks, working across legal, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution. This is a unique opportunity to help shape Uber's long-term operational model in one of its most important markets.
What You'll Do
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of labor-related operational processes (e.g., registering, terminations, social security payments) ensuring compliance
- Translate regulatory requirements into scalable workflows that ensure compliance and efficiency
- Use SQL and Google Sheets to track, reconcile, and validate data across systems
- Prepare and validate structured files for secure, accurate submissions to compliance systems.
- Identify and resolve operational gaps, proposing process and tooling improvements
- Collaborate with legal, product, and regional teams to align operations with evolving regulatory and business needs

What You'll Need
- At least 3 years of experience in operations, process execution, or compliance in a complex, regulated environment
- Proven ability to manage high-volume and sensitive workflows with accuracy and control
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Sheets (pivot tables, data validation, VLOOKUP)
- Experience using SQL to extract, analyze, and reconcile operational data
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of identifying inefficiencies and driving process improvements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when handling sensitive data
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with evolving priorities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and influence decisions
- Professional proficiency in Spanish and English is required
- Is a plus:
- Experience with labor-related processes in Mexico (e.g., IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAR) is a strong plus
- Experience working with structured file formats (TXT, XML, CSV)
