It involves driving strategic initiatives like new product launches, airport operations, vendor and partner relationship management, marketing campaigns, and on-the-ground acquisition strategies. Additionally, the role includes budget planning, content creation, event coordination, and supporting cross-functional teams to enhance rider and driver experiences across various touchpoints.

  1. Act as the first point of contact for identifying and resolving local app issues, including routing problems, incorrect navigation tiles, and communication bugs.
  2. Lead local rider appeasement efforts and manage rider payment topics such as cash handling and arrears.
  3. Gather and track competitive intelligence, covering pricing, product launches, advertising efforts, and market differentiators.
  4. Own and execute local Ops-Driven Acquisition strategies, including on-the-ground vendor relationship management and event-based campaigns.
  5. Support marketing efforts by planning and coordinating campaigns, creating content, managing brand approvals, and building a year-long event calendar in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  6. Plan and manage local budgets for operations and marketing activities.
  7. Support rider engagement and business development teams with relationship management efforts, including partnerships like Capitec equivalents.
  8. Manage airport operations strategy, including visibility, signage, reducing friction with stakeholders, setting performance targets, and running airport-specific initiatives.
  9. Oversee deployment and monitoring of new products, driver configurations, and campaign performance.
  10. Stay informed on PUDOs, venues, and events to support forecasting, campaign planning, surge adjustments, and participation when necessary.

What the Candidate Will Need
  1. Bachelors degree (Business related) - Marketing, finance, economics, supply chain management etc.
  2. SQL is a plus
  3. Experience in project management is required
